Children’s Ministry
Phyllis heard God’s call to work with children through a friend. She loves telling little ones about God’s huge love with little words.
She’s a Denver native, majored in history, studied abroad, went to law school, and practiced as an attorney. Some years later, desiring a change she earned an Executive MBA. She became the first administrator of a Denver Health program aimed at assisting older, low-income adults to live independently in their own homes.
Retired from that position, she still actively works to bless that same demographic through a non-profit that educates and connects older adults with services and provides input on legislation and public policy decisions impacting older adults.
Each Sunday morning, as she has for the past 40 some years, you’ll find Phyllis putting her legal, business, and government policy life aside while she uses little words with little children telling them of God’s great love.
